    Hi Scudie,

I am having the exact same problem when attempting to program a new SD card from a  file source that I used last year to successfully populate a 1GB card.

When I choose the file source using the wallbox2mp3 software, only one title downloads from the file with 200 MP3s. I reloaded the latest version of JAVA software with the same results. I tried both V 1.4 and V1.5.

I had no problem in the past programming SD cards.

    My adapter measures 5V output.

I get 2 red flashes repeating until I unplug the power to the board, unplug the SD card, reinsert the SD card then restore power to the board. I then get one shot to select music. When I select a letter and number, i.e. L2, a few seconds later, I get a single squawk noise from the speakers even when the volume is set at minimum and then nothing. I am unable to get get another squawk unless I repeat the unplugging and reinserting process.

The only SD card that allows the blue light to stay on without any flashing red codes, is an old Ultra 1GB. All other cards fail to stop the two flashing red lights. I even copied the contents of the 1GB card to Sandisk 4Gb and some 8GB cards and they all result in two red flashes even when I go through the unplugging reinserting routine.

I cleaned the contacts on the wiper board with no effect.

I don’t know whether I have problems with the WB2MP3 board, the SD cards or the WRA-200 wallbox itself.

I have the Rowe AMI WRA-200 manual for reference.

    Hi,

Since my last post earlier, I have been able to get the blue light to stay on by unplugging power to the board, removing the SD card, reinserting the SD card then restoring power to the board.

Now I have another problem, as soon as sound starts to come out of the speakers, it quits after one second and will not respond to any inputs until I go through the unplugging/plugging procedure again. After multiple attempts I get the the two flashing red lights again and have to start over again.

Is there any information to be gained by watching the two red micro leds on the small circuit board that are visible when the cover is removed?

    Still no joy….

    Hi Scudie,

I returned to New Hampshire last week after spending 7 months in Florida.

Upon returning, I once again turned to my Rowe Ami WRA-200 wallbox with the wallbox2mp3 conversion.

Last October, I posted my frustration that only a single 1 GB  SD card would function in the wallbox. This time, even that card will not work. When powered up, the blue light comes on and then a few seconds later, I get the two flashing red lights.

Since everything worked with this card in the past, I know the card was properly configured.

There must be some other issue other than the card itself causing the problem.

Obviously, since it worked before, everything is wired correctly.

Can you think of any else to try? I followed the troubleshooting procedure for the two flashing red lights over and over with no joy.

When I originally had this problem, wallbox2mp3 sent me a replacement unit that acts the same as the first.

I really enjoyed this product when it worked and would like to get to the bottom of why it refuses to work now.
